A History of Towering Success. Some people have a knack for putting the right people together; only a handful can also successfully transition them during change. Donna has always done both with success. Since founding Tower Consultants, Ltd. in 1988, in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Donna has left her trademark of professionalism, sensitivity, and insight on every one of the hundreds of searches conducted by Tower Consultants.
Tower Consultants was established with an original focus on compensation and benefit searches that blossomed into addressing the full array of the Human Resources function: talent management and organizational development, generalists, benefits, compensation, executive development, HRIS and payroll, training, labor relations/employee relations, and talent acquisition.
By the time she established Tower Consultants, Donna was already highly skilled at bringing people together. While earning her Master of Social Work from Fordham University in her hometown of New York City, Donna worked full time, matching foster and adoptive children with prospective families that she recruited.
Later, Donna did psychotherapy work in the Department of Psychiatry at Manhattan's St. Vincent's Hospital, where she assisted individuals and their families to make a smooth transition out of the hospital and back into their communities. Donna easily made the transition into executive recruiting, where her assessment experience and job placement skills were a great match. After testing the executive recruiting waters briefly with another search firm, she started her own and Tower Consultants has continued to grow and achieve success. Donna opened the Stuart, Florida office in 1995.
Donna, who earned the designation of ACSW and LCSW, is a certified Social Worker. She received her B.A. in Sociology from New Jersey's Rider University, and MSW from Fordham University in New York City. She also had postgraduate training in couples and family intervention from New York Medical College.
With global perspective, Chris brings a diverse and accomplished background in international business. As proprietor of two entrepreneurial startups, and with strong skills in business development and project management, Chris has contributed greatly to the Tower Consultants team since joining in 1999.
Growing up in England, Chris had an early interest in education and pursued her career aspirations by graduating from Ilkley College at the University of Leeds with a B.Ed. degree. Chris taught high school for eight years before leaving to start her own very successful catering and event planning business.

Since joining Tower Consultants, Chris was quick to master the art of Human Resources recruiting. With this knowledge, she has become quite proficient in the assessment of generalists, compensation, benefits, management/organizational development and staffing professionals. She has brought in and successfully completed challenging searches for major domestic and international clients, and has become an integral part of the Tower Consultants, Ltd. management team.
Chris became a Tower Consultants Partner in 2004 and promoted to President in 2010.
Tom Regan, Director
Tom brings 30 years group insurance sales and management experience and oversees all infrastructure activities from finance, website development, to legal and systems operations. Tom serves as technical/business advisor, allowing us to maintain our focus on our clients and candidates.
Sandra Lavarine, Finance
Since Sandy joined Tower Consultants in 2002, she has gained an intimate knowledge of our business and manages Tower Consultants’ financials. Her management of Tower Consultants’ accounting processes is exceptional. She is our point of contact for internal HR matters and ensuring we are in compliance.
Laurie Foltman, Executive Recruiter
Laurie brings a consultative approach to executive search. Her deep understanding of the market in the specialized HR niche helps her to identify key candidates through extensive research. With her strong business acumen and high EQ, Laurie has the ability to engage her candidates’ interest and delivers exceptionally qualified talent.
Elizabeth Rose, Executive Recruiter
Joining Tower Consultants in 2010, Elizabeth possesses a degree in Journalism and a deep public relations background. We celebrate Elizabeth’s extensive interviewing, assessment, and writing skills, as well as her innate ability to develop relationships very quickly.
